Welcome to Linearseat Gundam. I’ve been a huge fan of Gundam since the 80’s growing up and watching Mobile Suit Gundam and almost everything after that. I tend to enjoy mecha related anime or decent fighting series. My goal for the site is to keep track of Gundam news and any other interesting robot anime related information that suits my fancy. I also have another site called Linearseat for jpop, kpop, all other anime and anything cool.
What is a linear seat? It is a 360 degree panoramic display cockpit which may also act as an escape pod. In 0080 you see the prototype in the NT-1 Alex. You also see it in 0083 in the Dendrobium. In Z Gundam it’s pretty much the standard cockpit. In Char’s Counterattack you see Char eject from his Sazabi and Amuro mashing his escape pod into Axis.
I’ll mostly just be linking similar to the popular old Gunota Headlines blog. I don’t have time or wish to rip off pictures from other sites and post nothing but eye candy. If you can’t read Japanese, use some translation toolbar from yahoo or google. Posting embedded videos is easy though, so there should be enough stuff to look at.
