Welcome to the 10th Skye Rangers of the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces. We are active members of House Steiner in Mechwarrior 4. We are a dedicated lancing unit whose goal is to fight competitively and become the best Steiner group.
To all 10SR Members
Our Commanding Officer is Colonel BBear who has earned the respect of many Steiner players, officers, and command staff, but most importantly he is my friend. We all may have our own goals and aspirations in this game, but we share a special common bond we must continue to uphold and protect as part of House Steiner. Working together and playing as a team will lead us towards future success.
Our team carries a long tradition of excellence and we have persevered through thick and thin. Our core players have originated from the Winfield's Brigade and the 1st Lyran Regulars from MPBT Solaris in AOL since the Spring of 1997. Later that year we continued our fight in Gamestorm.
Our unit names have changed throughout time between 1LR, Wnbg, 8AG, 5KOM, RRC, and 10SR for we take on regiment names in accordance to the structure and front assignments within House Steiner. For 3025 and Mechwarrior 4 we have continued to wear the uniform of the 10th Skye Rangers, a great and historically rich unit known as the "Black Watch." In Mechwarrior 4 we are wearing the tag "ST10SR" to identify ourselves.
Honor, skill, loyalty, and trust are important aspects of being part of any group or unit in the game. Our standards are flexible but remember the golden rule by doing unto others as you would yourself.
I will train those that wish to be trained and can follow my orders. What you do with the skills you learn is ultimately up to you.
